The Lynn Residence is a remarkable project in the portolio of James Thomas Martno. The project when first approached was a mid-sized ranch house that easily blended into a suburban neighborhood. Now, with a complete redesign of the front facade, expansion of the rear living room, a second floor area and a redesigned yard, the Lynn residence stands as a testament to how a small and ordinary project can become the most unique piece of architectural design. The approach to the front and entrance to the house introduces you to a proud portco by the entrance as well as a porch. Existng rooms such as the master suite and the dining room separate the entrance from the rear, but allow for a greater entrance into the wonderful design of the rear living room. With a ceiling that stretches to a height of over 20 feet, the room feels as though it is a great banquet hall for social gathering. The rear facade is adorned with three great glass doors with circular windows above them, which gives greater visibility to the eye from inside to outside, but also allows for a great amount of light to enter into the space when it is daylight.
