Crown Jupiter Theatres, a massive 90,000 square foot theatre complex in Abacoa Town Center in Jupiter, Florida is one of the more integral pieces in the portolio of James Thomas Martno in the sense that it shows his work as a stand-alone architect, as well as a community planner. In being located at the heart of a downtown community center in Jupiter, Crown Theatres sits directly across the street from a minor league baseball stadium. Additonally, with a residental housing devel-opment located adjacent to the town center, you have a vibrant community heart that is highlighted by the Theatre. This complex has 16 individual theatre spaces which has a total capacity of 3,800 seats. This facility can handle ﬁlms from the top of the blockbuster chart, to small art house ﬁlms.
