The Mineola Condominium Project is a project that seeks to create a new residental hub of focus in a town that is otherwise dominated by businesses, a hospital and govermental affairs. This proposal provides for 82 apartments within approximately 87,000 square feet with units ranging from studios to one, two and three bedroom units which when occupied can contribute greatly to the social fabric of greater Mineola. Additonally, a parking garage with over 200 spaces relieves the strains that street parking places on the community. An easily incorporated but discreet garage makes sure that while the apartment can facilitate many parked cars, there will be no increase in vehicular conges-ton at street level. Finally, the ground level provides several retail spaces for a variety of businesses and a restaurant space that will compliment the diverse set of elements in this apartment complex. The playfulness of the facade and vocabulary architecture is not only invitng but complimentary to the adjacent community context.
