James Thomas Martino, Architect, P.C. was recommended to Adam Katz and Roxann Management Corp. by Michael Harris Spector, FAIA who was the original Architect of this 3 Story Office Building in 1974. Adam purchased this office building in 2000 and James Thomas Martino, Architect, P.C. was commissioned to redesign the public circulation spaces along with the new Corporate Offices for Adam Katz and Roxann Management.

The Client wanted an architectural statement that would project a state of the art, corporate image of his company. An irregular shaped space; the private offices and conference rooms’ ring the perimeter exterior facade. The interior partitions separating the private offices from the circulation pattern were constructed using a grid pattern of wood and tinted glass, thus permitting daylight to infiltrate further into the interior working spaces. A soft tone of wood along with indirect lighting projects a sense of calm and creates a friendly working atmosphere.

The client’s satisfaction with the results of this project has led to James Thomas Martino, Architect, P.C. being retained to renovate the client’s home in Kings Point.

This project was completed in 2002.
